Deep velvet-red roses in extravagant January bloom along a low stone garden wall, warm winter sunlight, a snow-white forest held far in the distance.

A Curse of Roses and Scales

Five books. One world. Three ways in.

A half-fairy student casts a spell in desperation, and it goes wrong in a way nobody has managed before. She wakes in another woman's body, in another woman's story, at a palace she has only heard of.

Dragana came to the magic school at Zlatnamagija to earn her place among her mother's people, the fairies, who only accept those deemed worthy into their ranks. Rosalinde walked into the Beast's palace on purpose. He had asked her father for one willing daughter, and she made sure it was her.

Now Dragana has a cursed palace to survive and a Beast the stories got wrong, while Rosalinde wakes at a school of magic that was a rumor to her yesterday, in a body she has to learn from scratch.

Two women. Two lives. One spell that broke everything open.

A Curse of Roses and Scales is a full-scale fantasy romance: slow-burn love across two storylines, alternating points of view, and a world where every fairy spell must carry the condition of its own undoing. It takes five books to tell.

A ring of ancient weathered standing stones on a high bluff above a green river gorge at dusk, misted forested hills beyond — the place of power older than the magic school.
A leather-bound book with a deep red rose laid across it, a folded letter sealed in red wax beside it, candlelight.

The Five Books

Three doors into the same house.

Then two books that follow in order. Open whichever door you like. Each one stands on its own, and the other two will still surprise you.

A green moldavite pendant on a gold chain on a windowsill in the fairy tower, looking out over a lavender-banked river fortress and misted gorge.
